The Sound of Transformers

Director Michael Bay and Producer Steven Spielberg return this summer for the third film in the Transformers franchise, Tranformers: Dark of the Moon. The amazing visual effects in this film are complimented by the talented efforts of the sound team including Re-recording Mixers Greg Russell and Jeff Haboush, and Supervising Sound Editor and Sound Designers Ethan Van der Ryn, and Erik Aadahl.

This is the first 3D film of the series and will also be presented in regular 2D, Real D 3D and IMAX, featuring Dolby Surround 7.1 sound.

Distraction Free Writing.

Sto provando la nuovissima versione 3.2 di WordPress, nello specifico la funzionalità cosiddetta “Distraction Free Writing”, grazie alla quale tutto ciò che non è il testo che si sta scrivendo “sfuma” completamente nello sfondo bianco. In effetti è un’esperienza molto interessante. Dopo aver creato un nuovo post bisogna attivare la visualizzazione a tutto schermo. Dopodiché non appena si sposta il puntatore del mouse fuori dall’area di scrittura come per magia scompare tutto tranne il testo che si sta scrivendo. Muovendo il puntatore del mouse ecco che gli strumenti di formattazione base e il tasto “save” ricompaiono. Niente male. Io dico che l’ispirazione è arrivata da qui.

The video was developed in collaboration with director/producer Ben Hulse (http://benhulse.com), videographer/editor Benjamin Taft, audio designer Toby Hulse, with additional b-roll/editing by Cory Ransom.

The new brand was unveiled on June 6th, 2011 and will be phased in over the coming months and is expected to be completed by the end of 2011.
